DOD PRESENTS THE ADAPT AND EVOLVE - FIGHT AGAINST OBESITY WALK!

September 6th, 2021 - October 16th, 2021

What’s that you ask?

You and DOD FIT LIFE of course, are walking together for a 42 day journey!

At DOD Fit Life, we believe aiming for any amount of exercise is greater than none at all. Please do not be intimidated by the recommendation as moving your body sensibly is the most important takeaway.

Log it. Take a daily photo of your steps and upload them to the FAO Facebook group, or email me, for a chance to win a free Instant pot and 2 recipes already written in a special notebook for you.

I am here to help fight obesity! The obesity rate in America stands approximately at 43%, which is almost half of America. It is killing us, however it can be reversed.

I am passionate about helping our nation fight against obesity but I can’t do it alone.

I invite you to do it with me.

How can I be a part of this?

You can sign up by clicking to register for our newsletter for updates as we approach the walk and beyond!

When does this start?

September 6th 2021

What do we do?

We will walk for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week with 2 days of rest.

Why 30 Minutes?

Approximately 150 minutes of exercise per week can improve your cardiovascular health.

In order to achieve the 150 minutes of cardiovascular exercise each week, I broke it down into 30 minute increments for 5 days a week to optimize your time.

Where does my donation go?

We are asking for a suggested donation of $30.

Monetary donations will go toward donating healthy food options to families in need, college students and cover business expenses.

$30 is our suggestion but we will gladly accept any amount you are able to give.

Thank you for helping us Fight Against Obesity!

My reason to walk

I want to help our children who are fighting for their lives with little to no guidance.

I want to help teens who struggle to love their bodies because of society’s unrealistic diets.

I want to help adults who didn't have the support system they needed and encourage them to stick with exercise and understand nutrition.
